Wanted RPG

A Science Fiction Role-Playing Scenario for Cyno's Role-Play

This role-playing game is based on the movie, "Wanted" and on the role-playing game system, "Cyno's Role-Play." Various details and theories, lacking in the movie and the game system, are filled in based on our own imagination. The "Wanted" scenario takes place in the present day. It falls directly in-line with various Cyno's Role-Play supplements and scenarios.

This Wanted RPG is not endorsed by the creator of "Wanted," nor by the creator of "Cyno's Role-Play." This project is not-for-profit. We welcome all contributions in materials, resources, and/or comments.

Introduction

A thousand years ago...
A clan of weavers formed a secret society of assassins.
They silently carried out executions to restore order to a world on the brink of chaos.
They called themselves The Fraternity.

Those in The Fraternity possess extraordinary physical abilities. These abilities are hereditary. Although they can be honed, they cannot be acquired by an average person. Those in The Fraternity can expand the possibilities of their bodies at will, and when acting in concert, members move as one organism. It is The Fraternity's greatest strength.

Wesley Gibson has completely abolished The Fraternity at textile factory number 17. Every assassin who knows his face is now dead (except Pekwarsky). But there are many more textile factories around the world. And no doubt many are manufactoring targets to manipulate the world. Those corrupted Fraternity brothers are now hunting for Wesley Gibson, who has disappeared underground.

After hearing about Wesley's "let fate sort out the mess" motto, your small group of assassin brothers has left the Fraternity quietly. You've managed to get in touch with Pekwarsky to assist him in weeding out the corrupted Fraternity assassins. You have never met Wesley, nor do you know his where abouts.

Loom of Fate

The Fraternity code is grounded in the messages offered up by the Loom of Fate. One must follow the will of the loom without question.

The shuttle of a conventional loom weaves threads in a consistent pattern, but the Loom of Fate occasionally makes alterations in the weave. The Fraternity's kill orders are contained within these "alterations" in the form of a binary code.

The Fraternity must be acutely aware of its mission. The mission is to preserve the balance in the world by eliminating those who the Loom of Fate predicts will disturb this balance and cause harm.

Assassin of Fate

There are only a small percentage of people in the world who can be assassin of fate. All of these people have an unique ability of raising their heart rate to 400 BPM; four times the rate of an average adult. The rise of heart rate causes high levels of adrenaline to enter the bloodstream. This feat allows them to move at super human speed, which, for them, the time seems to have slow down. While the time "slow" they are able to take advantage of their ultra-awareness to make precision strikes.

Assassin of Fate characters may double their actions during combat rounds.

Curving Bullet

"It's not a question of how. It's a question of what. If no one told you that bullets flew straight, and I gave you a gun and told you to hit the target, what would you do? Let your instinct guide you." - Sloan

The technique of the shooter is essential to a weapon's performance. With a smoothbore gun, the shooter can influence the curve and trajectory of a bullet with the flick of the wrist or follow-through of the arm. By turning your arm, you "lead" the bullet to your desired target. With flow-through, you determine the technique of your strike. In essence, your power travels with the bullet into the future, toward your target.

Curving Bullet is a new skill used by assassins to eliminate this enemies without direct line of sight. It is based on the physics concept that a projectile's initial velocity and rotational mass will effect its final trajectory. With enough inital force, curved bullet path is possible. Assassins must muster this skill in order to use the curving bullet technique. The following table shows bonus/penalty to apply when using the curve bullet skill.

These bonus/penalty are not applicable in straight-shooting situations. In addition, bonus/penalty for straight shooting situation are not applicable to curving bullets. Without this skill the character will automatically miss while using the curving bullet technique. Curving shot costs 10 actions to perform.

Bullet Striking

Bullets can be used for more than simply eliminating a target. A shooter can use his own bullets to stop or deflect the bullets of his enemy. The collision causes a mid-air explosion and leaves the shooter free to continue fighting.

Having super fast heart beat and the curving bullets skill gives an assassin the ability to learn the bullet striking skill. This skill allows an assassin to strike a flying bullet. Without this skill, it is not possible to strike another bullet. To acquire this skill, a character must have at least 70% on the curving bullet skill. Bullet striking costs 1 action to perform, in addition to the actions required for "Curving Bullet".

Recovery Pool

The recovery pool is a super concentrated white blood cell medicine. When a character is submerged in this medicine, the character's complete hit points is healed in eight hours.

Mouse Bomb

The mouse bomb is an invention by the "healer". The idea is to strap a small amount of C4 onto the body of a rat with a digital watch. The digital watch serves as the detenator of the bomb.

Damage: 1D10 daDP
Radius: 5 feet

Pekwarsky

Pekwarsky is a master at the science of killing. he operates as a rogue agent outside The Fraternity, making him extremely dangerous to its very existence.

He is a scientific genius who possesses unparalleled skill in the art of creating bullets. Using rare materials and superior craftsmanship, Pekwarsky can craft bullets that are capable of killing the most skilled fraternity members. His use of special grooves and multiple stage projectiles enables his bullets to travel for several miles with extreme accuracy.

Wesley Gibson

Hist father was the greatest assassin the world has seen. The Fraternity believes that the incredible skills possessed by Wesley's father were genetically passed on to him. They have gone unrealized... until now.

Wesley has always lived what he considered to be a meaningless existence. For years he led a life of ambivalence, ordinary in every way, never knowing the enormous power lying dormant and untapped inside him. Only The Fraternity knew his potential for greatness beyond measure.

His lightning fast reflexes outstrip all other Fraternity members. when first recuited, Wesley was unaware of his gifts. But, with a .45 caliber to the back of his head, Wesley was commanded to shoot the wings off a fly in mid-air. He fired, and in an instant, the fly lay wingless.

Wesley's extraordinary talents as a killer are due in large part to his unique genetic makeup. His gifts allow him to both control his heart rate and to achieve super human adrenaline leves in a finite period of time. These traits in turn give him the ability to operate on a far more efficient and accurate leve than this target.
